Look, fair warning, I’m feeling very unproductive this week. It’s Christmas week and I feel like I should be taking advantage of this. I mean, is anyone really working? Other than the retail community, of course?
So, this week, I don’t anticipate getting a lot done. It’s a good thing I finished this week’s comics two months ago.

This past weekend was spent getting caught up on all my reading. Two volumes of Joe Hill’s Locke & Key (a delightfully creepy story), I Kill Giants (a heartbreaking story about a little girl who’s going through a traumatic event), and Incognito (Ed Brubaker’s awesome criminal/superhero/thriller story).
Now, of course, I don’t know what I’m going to read. This always happens whenever I have a pile of books to get through. You see, there’s a security to having those books there. They’re like a warm blanket I can wrap myself up in at any moment. I know what I’m going to read. But then, those books are gone. and I don’t know what to do. What am I going to read? I have to find something to read!!!
Maybe I’ll read Stephen’s King new book…

This weekend I totally rocked ice skating. I took my wife and her sister, Diana(you may remember her from these fine videos) out for some holiday ice skating. I’m pleased to say no one fell, though, some of us did skate better than others. I’m not going to point any fingers or mention any names, but let’s just say I totally rocked the rink.

Our a/c was brought back to life last week! Hallelujah! We have been freed from the binding shackles of the unbearable heat! Ah, a/c, how I’ve missed you, old friend.
Oh, what’s this? A cold front rolling in? Temperatures in the fifties?
I hate Florida. You can quote me on that.

Finally, if anyone was wondering(and I know there were a few of you), we did find our missing camera. Apparently, it was stolen by the evil wicked witch of the west who deleted all the photos from the memory stick in an attempt to suck our souls dry. But, fret not, our love(and a hard right hook from Diana, but mostly our love) defeated the evil witch. Alas, though, our pictures from the last year are all gone, so we’re working overtime this Christmas on the photo taking.
If anyone has a time machine we can borrow to recapture those stolen memories please drop me a line in the comments.

In case I don’t write anything for Thursday, have a Merry Christmas.
