T-Shirts & More!

One Stray Word is growing again!

You’ll notice that we now have 2 stores: A T-Shirt Store and a Book Store. And, of course, all my books are available through Amazon as well.

I’m excited as this is the next step for OSW and we’re taking it! Take a moment, shop around, see if there’s anything you like.

A Quick Word From the Bible #12: A Verse or Two

I don’t really have anything to talk about today. Still unwinding from all of the recent events, so I’m just going to share a few verses today:

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen.

Ephesians 4:29 (NIV)

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory,
honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,

A Word From My Mind: Top Ten

My wife and I have family visiting this week and, to be honest, I’m still winding down from the previous week. So, here, instead of actual content, a Top 10 List:

My Top 10 Superheroes

1. Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)
I’ve talked about GL in this column before, so this is nothing new.. It’s just a great concept. It’s a magic ring that can create anything the wearer thinks of. I mean, how is that? And again, Kyle Rayner’s my Green Lantern. There’s something very personalable about his character. He’s an everyman thrust into extraordinary events. That being said, though, what Geoff Johns is currently doing with Green Lantern and Hal Jordan is just as riveting. And, hey, Blackest Night is getting closer!
