PACKING UP

Hi, my name is Jason Krumbine and I’m a packrat. Is this supposed to be a bad thing?

 In anticipation of our upcoming move my wife insisted I clean out some of my old notebooks. Although, she said I only had to get rid of the stuff that’s already been published, but that’s still a lot of stuff.

 Fun fact, with the exception of these columns for the website, I do all my writing by hand first. It’s the first draft of anything I write. When I go to type it up, it will inevitably change. That becomes my second draft. Usually, my first draft and second draft are being done concurrently, as I don’t want all that typing to be left till the end. But I hand write everything first. That’s a lot of paper. I’ve written about eight books and dozens, if not hundreds of short stories. And they were all handwritten first.
